Introduction : About the Programme
Advanced Pathway to a Degree
The SIT Advanced Pathway to Monash BITS (Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems) is the result of a collaborative effort between Republic Polytechnic and the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, Australia. It offers polytechnic students in the field of Information Technology an accelerated pathway to gain a degree.
SIT Advanced Pathway to Monash Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems (BITS) allows students who had sucessfully completed their RP diploma and 3 additional modules to be awarded up to maximum of 96 credit points (16 units) when they apply for admission to the Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems program at the Australia and Malaysia campuses of Monash University. They may potentially progress to 3rd year of study in Monash.
RP students with a good GPA of 3.0 and above, able to achieve good grades and cope with the load of an additional module in a semester are invited to take up the additional modules to achieve the credit points.
The additional modules to be taken would be directly dependent on the Bachelor program and the current diploma the student is pursuing.
